I have been going to Dr. Bell since 1996 and he came highly recommended even then! Everyone at Family Dental Associates is professional and kind. They always seem to know me and seem to care about my family and me. Both of my daughters have seen Dr. Bell since they were 2 years old, and although Family Dental is not known for being a children's dentist, I wouldn't take my girls anywhere else!! I trust Dr. Bell and his associates' opinions about all my dental needs! You couldn't ask for a better or more caring dentist!

The staff at Family Dental Associates is the BEST; they go out of their way to provide outstanding customer service. I usually have my teeth cleaned by Visa and she is very good at her job, she always makes me feel comfortable and takes pride in her work. Elaine is also another very important member of the staff whom I've dealt with many times. She makes sure all of my paper work is taken care of and works hard to also make me feel comfortable. Everyone at this office is friendly and professional and I would recommend them to anyone in need of a good Dentist. Which brings me to Doctor Ken Colson, I have been a patient of his for many years now and I can say he is the best Dentist in Middle Georgia.

I am thankful Dr. Bell took the time to respond to my post on facebook 'looking for a dentist!' How many dentist do that? He took the time to personally invite me to come by the office and meet with him. So I did. My first impressions as I walked in took my breath away. The lavish waiting room and furnishing; how clean and bright everything was, and how friendly the office personnel was too. They made me feel very happy to be there. I'm having extensive work done on my teeth and Dr. Bell's confidence and knowledge of options available make me feel secure my teeth are going to look great when all the work is done. He's taken extra time to explain the different procedures we could take to accomplish what I need, and has created proxy models to show me what my smile will look like when done. In my few visits and conversations I know he sets high standards for the finished work his office produces, which is great for me since I'll be wearing the finished product. Waiting time in the waiting room is always quick, the office functions timely, while allowing me all the time I need to talk and ask questions and I had a lot; the office personnel is friendly and helpful, and informative, from the hygienist, to the people in the front who schedule my appointments. But my favorite reason for coming here are the wonderful vignettes every room has on the other side of the windows to the elaborate decorations inside; from model air planes to koi ponds and pergolas and clouds on the ceiling; and I get a kick out of the sunglasses they give me to wear; anybody who suffers from frequent sinus headaches can really appreciate the length taken to make you feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. The last thing I will mention is the sincere concern over the expenses I'm incurring due to lack of dental insurance. They know how important it is for me to have a nice smile for my line of work dealing with people daily. Dr. Bell has shown much generosity absorbing cost where ever possible; and his financial manager has been very forthcoming with options that fit into my budget. It's heart warming.

My family and I have been patients of this practice for twelve years and would not consider going anywhere else. I have been treated by both Dr. Alex Bell and Dr. Colson and have been very happy with both. In addition to being consummately skilled and professional, they are both genuinely friendly and cheerful. Dr. Colson enters the room with a friendly hello, while Dr. Bell can be heard whistling a pleasant tune as approaches. While I have mostly seen Dr. Bell, I would trust either with any procedure. This practice utilizes the most up to date equipment and technology, and their friendly and professional staff is well trained in its use. This is a practice that genuinely cares about making your dental care as painless and pleasant as possible.

Both of my front teeth broke while eating one night. I contacted Nicole with Family Dental Associates and she was able to get me in immediately while other dentist offices were telling me it would be a couple of weeks. I went in and met with Dr. Bell and he was amazing. They got a treatment plan together for me within a matter of minutes. I felt that I couldn't wait to get my teeth fixed as they were my front two teeth and I was embarrassed to have them cracked. Nicole immediately worked me in for the same day to start my 2 crowns. What other office does that for a patient? Family Dental Associates also makes their crowns on site. I met with "Patch" and he guaranteed that no one would be able to tell I had porcelain crowns in front. He even had me come in 30 minutes before to match my crowns to my real teeth. Once the crowns were ready, they were placed and were a COMPLETE match. You can't even tell. Words can't express how happy I am with the services I received and will continue to receive as I don't plan on going anywhere else for dental services.
