I have been going to Dr. Castillo for many years and I have never had a problem. I used to work at a clinic, so I know a little bit about financial policies. I talked to Dr. Castillo s wife about theirs. I know for a fact that they bill several times before sending anyone to collections, so if you were sent that means you either did not bother pay your bill (even if it was small) for a long time or try to call to let them know it was a mistake. Personally I would not listen to the review of an obviously uneducated person who cannot spell or use correct grammar to tell me where to go. If you have questions about policies at Dr. Castillo s office, just ask. I did, and they told me everything I wanted to know. They were open and honest about everything. Plus, Dr. Sam always does a great job on my teeth and gives the easiest shots! I rarely feel anything when he is giving them, and I am terrified!

Dentist is ok... Accounting stinks... Bad bookkeeper... Can not keep your records right.. can not file insurance right. Will turn you over for collection even if the mistake is theirs. Went there for 15 years and they made many mistakes in bookkeeping. File my insuranse with wrong insurance company. 2 years later as me to pay the bill.. Turn me over to collection for just a few dollars.. I have had several other people tell me they had simular problems. Go somewhere else.. These people only look out for themself. No respect or consideration for their customers.

When it states "will file insurance", make sure you get a "prior approval" on all services before they do them. If they only file afterwards, your claim may be denied and then you'll owe them. And, if you make payments, they charge a monthly charge. Furthermore, the partial someone got looks more like bad aluminum work. It sticks out like a sore thumb. When questions are asked, all get defensive - even the doctor's wife that sent me a note on a scrap sheet of paper. I ended up calling the insurance company myself after months of staff getting nothing done and got more of my claim paid than the insurance clerk there. But beware, any questions about your account will result in total attitude and a major lack of customer/patient care. AGAIN - ASK THEM FOR A PRIOR APPROVAL EBFORE ANY SERVICES ARE RENDERED - even if they can do ti right then!!

Friendly staff but I left after waiting an hour for my appointment with two more patients in front of me. Won't go back. My time is just as valuable as the dentist' time.
