I always enjoy my time at Winterville Dental! Everyone who works there seems to be at ease and comfortable with what they're doing. It really makes me feel better about being at the dentist. I just got a night-time guard so I'll stop being such a nervous nelly in my sleep and it has made a COMPLETE difference in my mornings. Goodbye Early Morning tension headaches! I agree with SS Veidt above. I'm 61 years old and I have never been to a dental office that is so wonderful. Dr. Durden and his assistants take time to answer all my questions and don't try to rush me through or push me into unwanted procedures. Dr. Durden also consistently takes continuing education courses so he can offer his patients the most up to date dental care.

Winterville Dental is the best office that I have ever been to. I originally went there for a second opinion because the first opinion I got from another office was pretty damning, and sure enough, Dr Mitchell has completely turned the situation around; my smile is back and looking great! Autoimmunity wrecked havoc on my health, including my dental health, for two years straight and the first dentist I saw didn't think my teeth were worth saving, since autoimmunity is a chronic condition that you have for life. I had a different opinion, and thankfully, so did Dr Mitchell. If you have a real problem with your teeth, or if you just need a dentist for regular check-ups, I promise you that you will not find one better than the folks at Winterville Dental. And don't worry about unnecessary work being done, as some dentists do to rack up charges - I had a couple teeth that could have been root canals, but turned out only needing a filling, and that is exactly what they did. Less stress on my teeth, less time in the chair, and less money on the bill. They will also show you exactly what needs to be done, why it is necessary, and will work within your budget.
