I had my doctor call in a prescription to this pharmacy. I had to use Walmart as Walmart had under cut every pharmacy by $15 for the prescription I needed. I had my 26 year old daughter go to Walmart to pick up the prescription. When she asked for the prescription the assistant asked her for my daughter's birthdate. The assistant looked and couldn't find her name in the system. My daughter told her the doctor said pharmacist there said the prescription would be ready for pickup. The assistant refused to look any further. She was very rude. My daughter called me at work and told me this. I called the doctor's office and the nurse assured me the doctor had indeed talked to the pharmacist. When I called Walmart, the assistant answered. She was very rude and told me my daughter's name wasn't in the system. I then told her to put the pharmacist on the phone. The pharmacist was very courteous and found the prescription. He said it had been filled and since she was a new customer, she was under a different file. I had to go back to Walmart the next day to get the prescription. I live an hour away. I told the pharmacist this. He apologized. I ended up picking up the prescription and calling Walgreens to see if they cold match the Walmart price. They could not. I transferred my presciption to the Storm Lake pharmacy. There I have don't have to hassel with the cranky old lady at the pharmacy who refused to look further.
