I recently visited Dr. Swett’s Office for the first time and was treated by Dr. Elmitt. It was a great experience, and unlike some other dentists that are distant during their treatment, Dr. Elmitt was quite personable and answered all of my questions patiently. They also worked with my insurance to avoid any hassle for me as well. I will definitely be going back!

I have been a patient of Dr. Swett's for many years. Despite regular check-up appointments growing up, my first memorable dental experience with Dr. Swett came after he diagnosed a cavity at one of my visits. I had a few cavities in the past treated at other dental offices, and the appointments were always miserable because I dreaded the needle as a child. However, I was surprised when I was told I didn't need a shot because Dr. Swett used the laser to remove the decay. It was truly a painless experience. From that point on, going to the dentist was no longer something I feared. I strongly believe that the positive experiences I had with Dr. Swett growing up was the main reason I decided to pursue dentistry as a course of study. I wanted to do for others what Dr. Swett did for me. In college I began to shadow Dr. Swett on a regular basis. I observed as he utilized the latest technologies to deliver efficient and effective dental treatment to his patients. I was amazed at how many individuals were extremely happy with the care they received. The memorable part, however, was that they weren't just happy with the results - they were most impressed with how the dental team took care of them along the way. While in dental school, I had the opportunity to work in Dr. Swett's office during my summer breaks. I had a variety of responsibilities, but I spent a majority of my time creating crowns for patients. At many other offices, a dentist makes an impression of the tooth and sends it to an outside laboratory to create the crown. Conversely, at Dr. Swett's office the crown is designed on a computer and made in the office. This unique option allows the team to make a crown the same day as the tooth is prepared. Furthermore, a laboratory isn't responsible for guessing how a patient's natural teeth look when they design a tooth-colored crown to match the others. The results have been fantastic. When it came time to decide where I wanted to work after school, it was an easy decision. Returning home to work with a dentist that I trusted and respected was a dream come true. I knew that with Dr. Swett I could continue to develop my skills and utilize the latest and greatest technology that dentistry has to offer. Whether it's same day crowns, laser dentistry or implants - Dr. Swett is always pushing to offer his patients more. His practice embodies what it means to be patient-centered. And it's not just Dr. Swett, the entire team has bought into this philosophy. The patient always comes first, and from the moment you walk in the door you can feel this. The staff is friendly, they know who you are, and they are always willing do whatever they can to assist you. It's not just a safe place, but many patients have said they look forward to their dental appointments. I couldn't be happier than to be working alongside Dr. Swett. I can't thank him enough for the opportunity to practice dentistry together and look forward to many more years to come!
