DO not use this man! He bills for services and supplies that were never given. I reported him to BCBS, the Illinois Attorney General and the Illinois Office of Professional Regulation. Staff is rude, he doesn't even speak to you during the visit, the wait is terrible, nobody will answer questions. He performed surgery on me that another doctor said was not necessary. Am seriously thinking on suing him. Beware!!

I had the WORST experience with this doctor. Not only did I have to wait over 2 hours to get into my appointment, but he was with me for about 10 minutes total and told me to come back in a week. When I got my bill, I was charged at both appointments for medical work that was never done on me. I called and spoke with billing (After speaking with the rudest receptionist in the history of the world) and he told me he would adjust the bill and send me a revised copy. Well....for 4 years I went back and forth with these people and never got my bill fixed. They kept sending me the same bill OVER AND OVER. I didn't want to make any payments, because I didn't want my insurance to get messed up if I had to claim insurance fraud, which I was about to because of this nightmare. I spoke with a different billing person and her exact words were: "We need to verify with the doctor, so we can take it off, but he cant always remember what he does so he just puts things on charts" Seriously? Is that legal? So finally after 4 years and countless headaches I get my bill revised, both items taken off, but still the cost isn't much lower. Whatever, I'll pay. I want to make payments, because really it isn't my fault they can't get their act together, and I have spent many hours of my valuable time on this matter. The billing department calls me, insults me, verbally abuses me and hangs up on me after threatening me if I don't pay it all at once. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR. Trust me, you will regret it.

This man is a nightmare....he's rude, uncaring, materialistic, not compassionate in the least and if I had the power I would have his medical licence removed. I don't even want to give him 1 star cause hate is the least amount of disgust I have for this man.

Quite possibly the most uncaring doctor I've ever had the pleasure of meeting for approximately 2 minutes. Why was I referred to this jerk-off?

Found Dr. Karnezis to be compassionate and capable. Very accessible.
