this agency is very unprofessional. I attended and paid out of pocket 10 weeks of sessions recommended as a result of a court order for an evaluation due to a plea agreement I signed when someone attempted unsuccessfully to rape me. these sessions were based mostly on substance abuse which does not pertain to me or my case but pertained more to my counselors jaded past. long story short, this agency is required to have you sign a release of information which you can legally withdraw at anytime. they, against my detailed extremely verbal wishes released information about me violating my client confidentiality rights per their own privacy act. this didn't really affect me however it is the principle of I paid them and they violated my rights. I would suggest that future clients type or write something up themselves and have this agency sign in effort to protect their own privacy rights. although the ladies are very nice people, my personal counselor just couldn't seem to get her sh-- together or keeps her ducks in a row. she could never remember anything previously discussed and really never addressed anything that pertained to me. I went there, as others do, just because it's the cheapest. I recommend that if anyone truly needs counseling other than just doing it to satisfy a state's attorney, that you splurge providing you have the finances on quality counseling. I guess you get what you pay for. I felt like I was the counselor as it was difficult for the ladies to even print out documents on the computer. good luck to potentials. please note, the ladies are very likeable and pleasant, just not qualified to help other people. especially if you really do have legitamit issues you will definitely want to go elsewhere. and remember what I said about their inability to honor your privacy rights. sincerely.. tracy fulsang
