I called Hoosier Eye Doctor on a saturday to see if there were any possibility of a walk-in eye exam, and walk out of the shop with some contact lenses on the same day. I am a traveling consultant and i only use contact lenses while shooting pool. With a strong astigmatism in my left eye, I have always been using lenses with higher power but without astimagtism correction in them, but recently, I have gotten really frustrated with the blurred vision without the astimagtism... I had to get the lenses that day as I was bound for another out-of state assignment the next day. Hoosier Eye Doctor did not fail me... It was amazing that they had such a wide variety of lenses in stock, but what was more surprising was that they had lenses for astimagtism in stock as well. However, the MOST AMAZING part of this shop is the service. Joe was extremely patient throughout the entire process, had amazing tips and insights on how to take care of my vision, and most importantly, although my astimagtism power was too high and required a special order of contact lenses from the manufacturer, Joe made sure that I had the best alternative with me when I left the store. He let me try different lenses and checked that every lens I tried was a perfect fit for me, until he found the perfect fit. Did I mention that Hoosier Eye Doctor was the only shop that found my name listed under the insurance coverage? I work for a global accounting firm and I have Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield insurance, but Lenscrafters and PearleVision DID NOT cover my eye exam. Hoosier Eye Doctor DID. Do yourself a favor and go to Hoosier Eye Doctor... Pamper yourself with the loving service from the wonderful crew at Hoosier Eye Doctor.

I've been going to Dr. Joe for the last couple years, and I am always very satisfied with the friendliness and quality of service. Dr. Joe has established nice facilities and implemented top notch technology to assist in the eye exam process. He always takes the time to answer any questions and explains very clearly and understandably what he is doing and his analysis of your eyes. The most thorough and thoughtful eye doctor I have ever seen. I moved away from Bloomington years ago and still miss him every time I go to see a new doctor in each new place I live. I recommend this office every chance I get!
