Mother was referred here, but the only appointment available was with the PA. Generally I have no issues with PAs, in fact, they are usually as thorough and personable, if not a little more so, than the attending physician. However, this was not the case with PA Baynes. Yes, he was thorough, but essentially he told this 84 year old woman, who lives alone, who is in so much pain she can't sleep at night, who really has no one to look in on her, to go home and tough it out! I thought compassion was part of being a health care provider! Shame on you, Nate Baynes. I know you're a local boy and I know the values taught when I was growing up were much higher than you showed us with our mother!
