Dr. Tauscher and the entire staff at Johnson County Dermatology have been wonderful! From scheduling appointments around my busy schedule, to friendly office personnel and I especially appreciate their timely appointments! Any doctor's office that can keep on schedule and get you in/out but be as thorough as Dr. Tauscher as well as kind will always get my referral! Thank you!

I would absolutely NOT recommend this office to anyone. I had seen Dr. Stagge, when she was at another office. I made an appointment to have 2 moles removed. I was out of town when the appointment was, do to a death in the family - I never received a confirmation call or I would have rescheduled right then. They sent me a bill for $100!!!! for a missed appointment, I have never been in their office or signed paperwork. When I called to have it removed, they #1 - had my phone number wrong, #2 - said they called and I answered, and #3 said I was coming in for lip fullers.

The postive for this company is Laura Stigge. I followed Laura to Johnson County Dermatology years ago. Never had to see anyone else until Nov. of 2013. Was scheduled for surgery, woke up with a severe migraine that morning which usually come in blocks of 2 - 3 days, that was the first day. Called them and said I would call back to reschedule which I did. Before my surgery appointment I received a bill for a "No Show Fee" of $100.00! I called them to discuss. Over the next few weeks, after they discussed with Dr Kroh, also after I sent a letter to Dr Kroh, she would not waive the "No Show Fee". Needless to say I went back to Dr McCune whom I should have never left! I would absolutely NOT recommend Johnson County Dermatology, specifically Dr Jan Marie Kroh to anyone. What Doctor would want to perform surgery on a sick patient???

I've had bad staff experiences in the past but had a good experience today so I thought I'd review on a good note. One of the receptionists, she may be new, was very friendly and very helpful today and on the phone when I originally made my appointment. So maybe their making improvements. I have to say that Dr. Amanda Tauscher is one of my favorite doctors of all time so I hate to see her office getting bad reviews. She's always made me feel like my concerns were important and has provided me with information about why she was choosing my treatments, etc. Some doctors assume that everything is way too over your head to explain it, and she's not like that at all. I wish all my doctors were like her!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. I went in to have a consultation, a needed step in order to set up a minor surgery, which the office wrongly scheduled me for. I would not have known it was wrongly scheduled if I had not called in a few days before asking to talk to the Dr Tauscher in order to see if she would put my surgery down as 'medically necessary' or not, so I would know if my insurance will cover it. Not only did I wait for over 2 weeks for the doctor to call me back (calling 3x within that span of time to remind the staff that I needed her to call me) but the office staff scheduled me for an appointment without asking me if it worked for me or not. Then, when I did not show up for said appointment I got slapped with a $100 no show charge. Luckily, after a lot of arguing, talking to 4 separate people and being put on hold for about 30 minutes, I finally got that removed off my account. Don't waste your money or time going here. Stay away and find a place with a better office staff. The doctor I met with (Stigge) was great, but it's too bad she works at a place with such a horrible staff.
