When looking for a home for my great grandfather, I looked no further than Brodhead. Even though the home is an older type home, it is a wonderful place. They really care so much about the residents although sometimes short staffed. Rockcastle Health and Rehab is a wonderful place to send your loved one.

Our 100 year old Aunt has been in this home for 6 years and has had excellent care and is wheel chair bound. Caring for elderly patients is very challenging and the staff does a wonderful job. Everywhere is short handed but we have always found the place clean and the staff helpful and kind. We have always found our aunt clean and well cared for and they gave her a very nice 100th birthday party.

I have never in my life saw such an inadequate medical facility. The smell alone when walking in the front door should be a BIG RED warning sign.. I have witnessed nursing staff leaving dinner trays in rooms and picking the same tray up untouched. It is hard to eat food when you can not feed yourself. To me, this home should be condemned and the entire staff be charged with neglect.
