This guy seemed nice the first time I went to see him and since my kids go here regularly, I thought that this guy could be trusted but I was very wrong. Last week I developed a toothache in my upper wisdom tooth on my left side, I went to see Dr Dinn and he took a look at it and gave me antibiotics to get rid of an infection then scheduled me in for Wednesday (yesterday) for extract. The procedure was a failure.. Before he did anything, I told him that the flap of skin on my bottom left wisdom tooth had flared up a bit and he told me that that's ok and that it probably would go away after we dealt with the upper wisdom tooth. Just a few minutes later the procedure has began and he was struggling to see what he was doing and he kept acting like I was doing something wrong and so I told him "just tell me what you want me to do and ill do it" and so he continued and then he used one tool and it slipped and hit the back of my tongue.. then he used another tool and then I heard a crack and I thought things were going to be done very soon and he even said "you're going to feel pressure", which usually means the tooth is coming out very shortly, but to my dismay, it did not. He just stopped what he was doing and said he was going to send me to an oral surgeon and walked out without saying anything else. I was in a state on confusion and so I was shoved to the front desk and the receptionist there was very rude but atleast she offered to call around for me to get an appointment scheduled for an oral surgeon. She kept telling me that I should get both the top and bottom wisdom teeth out at the same time and said the they usually take them out in pairs and that the doctor strongly recommended that the bottom tooth be taken out as well. After I left, I tried eating something soft a few hours later and a tooth fragment came out and I assumed that it was from the top wisdom tooth that Dr Dinn was messing around with but today another piece came off again and now my bottom left wisdom tooth hurts and im having some very sharp and severe pain from it.. I now know why they were telling me to get them both out.. He messed up and didn't want to admit it and when he realized that he was doing more damage than good, he stopped.. Atleast he stopped when he did but now im in even more pain than I was before and finding someone trustworthy and reliable seems like an impossible task.. I would not recommend this Dentist to anyone and I would like to give anyone who is considering going to Dr Dinn for a wisdom tooth extraction, DON'T, you are better off going to an oral surgeon. This guy is terrible!
We were visiting Cape Cod when our daughter needed unexpected dental care. We started calling dentists and after a few "dead-ends" we tried Dr. Dinn's office and they got us right in. We could not get over how nice they were to us. Our daughter was very nervous but it went very well. We were so grateful for their kindness.
Great staff!
