Being brand new the entire experience, I will say I was taken aback at first about sitting in a group setting and receiving acupuncture. After my first visit, I wasn't sure that I would be back because of that reason. However, I will say that after having attending twice weekly visits for several months, I highly recommend going! Meaghan and her staff are so nice and attentive! The procedure is easy and extremely relaxing. The sliding scale payment is such a nice feature. If I had to complain about one thing, I do recommend bringing some ear plugs or maybe even headphones because some clients who fall asleep do snore relatively loudly and I am easily disturbed by such noises. For those on the fence about acupuncture, my experience and response has been phenomenal. I went for sleep deprivation, anxiety and infertility. My sleep problems have been resolved after just about 3 sessions, I generally feel a lot more relaxed and less nervous and I believe that is all due to the acupuncture. Thanks to Meaghan and Edgewater Acupuncture, I am a forever client to acupuncture now after having been treated by Meaghan! Unfortunately, I no longer live in the Annapolis area is will greatly miss my "needle naps". Wonderful! Meaghan is very nice, easy to talk with. Service is affordable for any budget. Very comfortable and relaxing environment and the most important part is that Meaghan's acupuncture skills are brilliant. I go in with pain. I leave without it or it disappears in a few hours.
