Rite Aid Pharmacy

could not agree more w/ all the above complaints regarding the service. Absolutely terrible. The old white haired guy is insultingly rude. I will NEVER go their again.
Slowest and most rude customer service ever. Every time I come in it takes 30 minutes to get my script. Half the time I'm ignored..till I say something. Older gentleman who is in charge (white coat) is rude. The woman pharmacists are nice and look stressed half the time. I hope things change
When I can, I prefer to use 290 Congress Rite Aid, they are so much friendlier and helpful. But maybe they environment has something to do with it? This Rite Aid is so tiny and the aisles are small. I get claustrophobic. I don't think the environment helps with people's moods and helpful ness. But the service seems fine. I agree it is slow ... Maybe a renovation so it's a more welcoming place overall?
I saw the pharmacy department treat a man who clearly needed help and understanding to get his needs met with such disregaurd for any of his basic human rites to privacy to his prescription needs, and where and what agency that was paying for it. The male graying pharmacist got mad at this guy and was yelling at him to get his case worker to do there job because he was not going to do it for them. At no point did I see the guy trying to get the prescription filled be rude or act out otherwise. I could hear the pharmacist from the middle of the store. I was just there for an eye glass case but left feeling so bad for that guy.
Its infamous for the "slow" checkout. its deathly slow. i have seen on a daily basis, because i am rite next door haha. the older gray haired man with glasses just stand up front without opening one of the other 3 registers, with over 6 customers standing, usually impatiently in line. it could be because of the people it attracts, it is congress street. but the pharmacy is TERRIBLE! not professionals in the least. you would be saving your self alot of grief if you went to the 290 congress st. that is where you will find the courtesy you deserve. and a professional.
