Kroger
Reviews
Always out of basic items such as lemons, broccoli and other items that you should expect a Kroger to carry. Their fish is outrageously expensive - about $7 for a small piece of fish and you might as well go to Whole Foods if your looking to spend that much. Also, their staff is terrible and rude. I asked the guy behind the meat counter what type fish he recommended for the day and he just said they are all the same. I asked what is the most fresh and he said its all the same. Then I asked him what he personally liked the most and he said he they all taste the same. Thanks buddy. The Deli people give you a bad attitude and they are terrible at slicing the deli meet. They always use the lowest setting to cut the meat which results in you just getting a bag full of shredded meat (not in slices). Laughably bad.
I always have a bad experience from a filthy restroom, rude and unhelpful deli people, and incompetent cashiers.
I have shopped this store for proximity to my home and kids schools but I am consistently disappointed. If I didn't have two little ones and NO time, I wouldn't have gone back after the first couple bad experiences. Aside from expired food (milk, hot dogs, bread and Children's Tylenol), the produce is either pre-rotted or not ripe. The worst part for a mom of two little ones, freshly out of potty-training is the need to use their smoke filled and absolutely filthy bathroom. I have mentioned this to store managers at least twice but that bathroom is the employee smoking lounge and they apparently don't mind the filth. The Kroger on Coolidge is much cleaner and has managers who seem to care a bit more.
i shop here very often, the emoloyees with the morning shifts can be a little stuck up but the afternoon and night workers are always friendly and very willing to help. the shelvs are always orginised and clean and i rarely find items out of stock. They also carry a HUGE selection compared to other stores.
