I have been going there since it first opened. I was new to the area and looking for a good Doctor that would really follow thru with everything. I have had several major problems that the doctor diagnosed and treated quickly and my problems were gone. He also requires various test each year that provide me with a true picture of where I am at. I am in my mid sixties and do not want surprises and with one look at my chart the doctor knows what areas to look at. I have moved all my records there and am very happy. For a person like me who gives staff a hard time they are polite and treat me as a friend of the family. By the way, my wife passed this pass year from a long illness and as the last moments came there was Doctor Deb Halek by my side doing all she could and she spent a lot of time with me. Being with the urgent care center I don't have to wait for an appointment, I get right in and am on my way. I trust their care.

I went in with in ingrown toenail and was only expecting a prescription for anti-biotics. The doctor said he could cut out that nail right now. I trusted him. Later, after days of intense pain, I talked to my doctor who said that that was very dangerous, due to infection. I spent one year trying to heal that toe due to complications from removing that nail while infected. I also have seen that older doctor (like the review from 4-19)and he gave me a prescription to treat a Urinary tract infection and the anti-biotics he gave me were not very effective against UTI's and he told me he didn't know how that medicine would interact with my other meds. I don't mind if a doctor is unsure of something but I do expect them to look it up or make a call. I ended up with a severe UTI thanks to his incompetence.
