Worst hospital that I have ever seen in my life. My mother gave birth to her baby there was left alone during the birth. She delivered by herself on the bed with no nurses around her and when the baby was taken to his bed was left crying for half an hour. My mom was going to be discharged at 4cm dilated and with high blood pressure because she had no contractions even though she had warned them that all of her other pregnancies she had fast deliveries. While nurses readied her discharge papers she started her contractions and went from 4cm to 7cm in 20 mins. She delivered on the hospital bed and the baby was born with the cord wrapped around his throat. No doctors on staff, mostly student nurses. Will never again go back to this hospital and advise other mothers to-be not to go unless you want horrible service.

IF YOU THINK THIS WAS GOOD CARE THEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT GOOD CARE IS. Do not take your pregnant wife here. The staff on the residency end has been doing everything they can to deny responsibility for things they've messed up on so far. The nurses were great so 1 star for them. THIS IS A TRAINING HOSPITAL. YOU WILL BE A TEST SUBJECT FOR DOCTORS IN TRAINING. they come in at all hours and hardly let you rest. There are so many levels of care people that a knock on the door and someone coming to poke and prod you every hour or less is common. Horrible communication skills between the staff here. Numerous time of forgetting to tell someone to bring pain meds. The food is okay. Security is armed so that's nice considering you're forced to leave your gun in the car....in DETROIT!!!! Even with the levels of attention, they still mess up way too frequently. The only good thing that happened here was a successful c section from doctor Puter...she was great for the 3 hours we spent dealing with her. The rest of the 72 hours was a nightmare. They don't restock the rooms adequately. The tp in our bathroom was empty and not refilled. The hand cleaning foam ran out an it took all day of not being replaced before I stole one from another room. Obviously they don't care about a sterile environment. If this was a hotel or other service industry, I would have demanded a refund and never use the place again. I hope I never have to return to this dump in downtown Detroit. Oh and by the way, we hope you enjoy your view of graffiti covered abandoned buildings lining your horizon. This city is doomed. Can't wait to get the hell out.

My 4sons born in here. My dr was radwan asaad. He is very good.

I gave birth to my son there on Dec 19, 2013. He was premature at 29.5 weeks! He is in the Special Care Nursery. The nurses are very nice and does a great job!
