I would not recommend Dr. Manica or MIND to anyone. I have been taking my son there for several years. I should have switched years ago but I was reluctant to change. We were trying to find a medication that would help him. A process which was made horrible due to lack of communication with the Dr. First of all let me say they are too busy. The Dr and staff are difficult to get a hold of and there are often long delays waiting for the Dr. I felt like I couldn't get the time of day from the Dr. Third the staff can be rude and are not service oriented. Lastly, pills pils pills. That seems to be the solution to all problems. There is no comprehensive approach whatsoever. Just prescribe a pill and call me back in 2 weeks. I'm sorry but any child suffering from ADHD needs more support and treatment than just a pill. Medications have their place but they are not the only solution.
I have dealt with many clinics, for living in different states in the US. I just love MIND, love the team work, love Dr. Jeffrey, Emily, Heather... They became part of my life, and I love how they handle it well. I would highly recommend this clinic.
This place was awful. I made an appointment after receiving a referral with over two weeks until the next available appointment. When I arrived I was directed upstairs to another room. When I entered the woman behind the window took my basic information then had me fill in the usual paperwork. After being recalled to the glass window for the forth time, I was asked for my doctors telephone number because they had not received the referral. The when my doctors office was closed they said they would not see me without the referral paperwork. I told them I had the referral paperwork at my home, they didn't care! The office staff is lazy, sitting behind their glass window and wouldn't do anything to help! I am a disabled veteran and they just plain don't care about patients period! I was disgusted by their hollow apologies so I left, never to return. My advice, is simple, if you are unwilling to do the job of the office staff, do not bother with these clowns.... Disgusted!
I've been receiving treatment here for 7 years. I've received effective treatment for my neurological disorders with no relapse in 7 years I van't speak for the other reviewers but I would recommend the M.I.N.D at this location to anyone whose looking for caring professional treatment!
If anyone sends you to to this location, they really hate you. Like...you should find out why they hate you. This place sucks. The receptionists are awful. If you suffer from Trigeminal Neuralgia and you have an episode...don't bother talking. Do just as the idiot receptionist says...go STRAIGHT to the emergency room. They'll help you then act like they they don't know you. They refer you to THEE WORST pain management places with 3 stars under their belt and harshly let you know that they don't know what else to do for you. Dr. Singer was my source of happiness, my blessing from God (if you will) and he recently became my worst nightmare. I wouldn't be right in calling him a "criminal" but he's far from innocent. He restarted my TN and when I asked him about the incident in which it started, he acted as though I was speaking gibberish. I am absolutely fed up with this location and their faults. He discharged me because he doesn't want anybody to help me. He is absolutely rude and uncomfortable in dire times. He doesn't deserve to be elsewhere, practicing. He deserves to be at Oakwood. The hospital of terrible RNs...with the exception of about 14 beautifully high-spirited RNs, CNAs and LPNs and sitters. Other than that...he is a ruthless man and his staff is absolute trash. I pray his life changes and becomes better. He's been looking unhappy as of lately and I'm just praying God helps him...because he's not a bad guy...just really, rude.
