they do a great job and are very respectful and patient. everyone that I have talked to had nothing but good things to say. hey Ed, and greg, keep doing what ya'll do. and a very special shout out to ms. annett.
They saved my dads life. He died clean. God bless them and all they do!
The staff and all their help are very nice and helpful. I would reckomend Sacred Heart to anyone who's having a problem with any addiction. One of the great things is how they include the family which is very important for a addict/alcoholic to know someone is on their side. Thumbs up Sacred Heart!
I went to treatment 3X before finding sacred heart. I got there on 9/2/05 with a $200 a day heroin habbit. 8 YEARS, & MANY MEETINGS LATER I THANK GOD IM STILL CLEAN. Shut up, listen, pray, its easier than you think! Keep life simple, no drama, DONT PIC-UP. the rest is alllllll gravy baby!!!
Worst experience I ever had. I went through detox in Toledo Oh after the Death of my Dad. I got into drugs to ease the pain and had to goto treatment to get off of the Narcotics I was on, that was a good experience. 6 years later I had to go into rehab for Benzo addiction. I checked myself in and was told that this was a great facility. Well, they are not only understaffed but the staff that is there are more concerned about what you are wearing then your recovery. The last place I was at it didn't matter if you wore a hat, sweats...etc...because you were there to get better, the focus, as it should have been, was on your RECOVERY. That is NOT the case here. I actually had one of the workers there, who was one of the higher ranking employees, after asking him what WAS MORE IMPORTANT, ME WEARING A HAT OR MY RECOVERY...TO THIS HE ACTUALLY paused to think about it...NO THINKING, THE clear ANSWER IS my recovery...NOW, TO BE FAIR MOST PEOPLE THERE WERE GOOD AND HAD A WILLINGNESS TO REALLY HELP, but allot of them were more focused on things that had absolutely NOTHING to do with my recovery. The first one I went to DID care about it, and could care less if I wore sweats or a hat all day long, just as long as I got better, which is the mindset that all recovery centers should have. And, just for the record, the 12 step program was set up by Christians...yes, the people there had no clue of that...unbelievable!!! No, the program no longer hinges on Christian beliefs but rather the belief in a 'GOD' or higher power, but that was not what I asked and was told flat out, that the program had NOTHING to do with faith...again, UNBELIEVABLE...if you are looking for a good recovery program, look elsewhere, unless that type of stuff, such as hypocrisy, doesn't bother you, then go sign up now!!
