I am a huge fan of Walmart and not just one certain store in particular, but all Walmarts. I love that prices are low and quality is usually good. But this particular Walmart is getting a review from me... My girlfriend and I stopped as we were passing through town and after picking out what we needed, we searched for a line. There was probably ten lines with workers checking people out, each line had at least three people in them and the employees were moving so slow. While standing in line, we observed at least four employees doing nothing and one that verbally announced they were taking their break right now. After around a ten minute wait and the lines moving nowhere quickly, we put our stuff down and left. Very disappointing... If the employees would have been trying just 2% of their ability, I feel that the process would of went smoother and worked better. But instead, we went to Kmart.

Wal-mart in Detroit Lakes has the best Wal-mart prices. We purchased some sleepware and then looked at the same items in the Minneapolis area. The were more expensive! Also one of the check-out ladies has the most beautiful, friendly smile all the time!

I experienced horrible service at the Walmart in Detroit Lakes, MN. Went to get some helium balloons for my brother's graduation party. Asked for 14 balloons. There was nobody else waiting, but it took more than an hour and a half. The young man (John) who did the balloons was extremely rude and unfriendly. He had a major attitude, and acted like it was the biggest chore in the world to help my sister and I. If he hadn't taken so long and made us late to the grad party, I honestly would have asked to speak with his manager and complain.

Very Friendly staff in their Pharmacy. They do a great job!
