The first issue I have is that the produce seems like it was rejected from other stores and sent to cub foods. I'm originally from south Minneapolis and have been shopping at cub for all of my adult life but since moving to Mankato to I have noticed a huge difference between cub foods in Mankato vs any of the Cub stores in the twin cities area. On several different occasions I have seen moldy fruit on display for sale like there's nothing wrong with it. Also I bought some catfish from cub that the had behind the counter along with other fish and meats got it home and you could tell by the smell that it was rancid. As if rotten food for sale wasn't enough of a reason to avoid this place now its normal practice for the employees at the in House Tcf bank to harass you about opening an acct while your trying to find food that hasn't expired. They will try to pressure you even after you say your not interested to open a checking account, you will run into one of them 2 to 3 times while shopping. If you like moldy fruit and questionable meat then this is the place for you, the sad thing about the moldy fruit especially strawberries for some reason is that hyvee doesn't fair to much better but at least they have a decent meat dept.

on three seperate occasions i was accosted be the TCF bank people. Twice while i had head phones in which usually means leave me alone. Even after i so no 7 times and usually giving reasons like im happy with my current service or i dont have time they still dont leave you alone. When finally they leave you no other choice but to walk away they actually made rude comments as i walked away. I avoid CUB due to TCF.
