I have been going to Noesen and Associates since 1987. I am extremely annoyed at the last review because it sounds like a disgruntled person. I am surprised they knew about quadrants, etc almost like a person who knows extensively about hygiene and has an axe to grind. All I can say is Noesen really cares about their patients and they tell it like it is. Patients are the ones that control what happens in their mouth. They get the correct education and are advised what is the best treatment in each individual case. If you have insurance, they ask for whatever your patient portion is expected. It is a estimate and the patient should understand that they need to contact their insurance company to know what they will cover in each case. Get educated, know what your insurance covers and if you have ANY questions, ask before you have the procedure. Dentists are doctors too. They have extensive medical education and have your wellness at heart. A healthy mouth correlates to a healthy body.

I came in for a routine cleaning, and fell victim of the dental hygienist looking out for her bottom line $$ rather than my best interest. My cleaning started and went for approx 15 minutes and got as far as one quadrant, then the hygienist needed a complete set of x-rays (no reason given other that we need them), followed by an attempt to do the gum probing (poke gums measure how far the probe sinks in) they do to check for deep cleaning under the gums (separate $$ procedure than the cleaning I came in for). I refused the gum probing and wanted the cleaning I came in for but she seemed more concerned about being able to bill the insurance company for the gum probe procedure that I was refusing. Guess what….we ran out of time and I was informed I need to make another appointment to complete the cleaning. Give me a break; my insurance was billed for complete cleaning (not ¼), x-rays, and yes even the deep gum probing which I didn’t have or agree to. I’m not going back to a place that has a blatant disregard for my time and my money. Signed, Yuck Mouth. I still need a cleaning from a competent dentist office.
