Nucken Futz - November 26, 2013

Got a job at this store recently. It seemed quite strange, but nearly everyone who works there is exceptionally friendly. Right after I was hired I was treated as if I've been there for years by both young and older associates. Quite a few have even remembered my name when they don't even work in my department. I expected to be known as "the new guy" or "the newbie", but that wasn't the case The general attitude of the workers on big sales days such as Black Friday (including pre-black friday) and other similar events isn't too great. Everyone's got "I can't wait to get out of this place" in their head. Nonetheless, we still did quite well with assisting customers. Aisles are almost always clean with no carts sitting in the way. I'm called quite often to zone (clean, make pretty & pull items forward) other departments which is a pain. Probably because when I zone, I do a damn good job. At least according to my standards. I once got stuck in the candy aisle. Collected about 20 empty boxes by compacting items. Spent around 2 1/2 hours zoning the candy aisle, lost track of time and worked one hour over. From what I've seen, we're prone to under-stocking. Even on items we know will sell out almost immediately. It seems I often have to tell customers "Sorry, we're out of stock." I personally hate letting others down so that's one thing I wish we could improve on. Don't know what else to cover so..... FIN Edit: I had nicely spaced out paragraphs, but apparently Google doesn't like paragraphs.

what a joke this place is! these boys get paid about 8 bucks an hour to act like arrogant fools. rude, rude, rude! and don't expect any service in this area bc they will walk right by you bickering about how it's not their turn to write you up.

I like this walmart better than most. The workers are not constantly bugging you for help but are always nearby

I shop here all the time. So far, it's one of the cleaner walmart's I've been to.
