Leake Memorial and the hospital staff are incompetent and pathetic! When I arrived to the hospital I was met by a cloud of cigarette smoke from all the nurses who were standing outside of the ER. I never saw a physician, the nurses seem to be lost, dazed, and confused….I suppose that is why they work @ Leake Memorial…They cannot make it @ a real hospital. One month after my visit I went to UMC were I learned I was misdiagnosed at Leake Memorial….I am not surprised. I never saw a doctor, but yet the hospital billed me for seeing one….I guess that was the doctor I saw standing outside the ER with the nurses smoking as I came in on a stretcher. My recommendation is to go to Canton or Flowood if you want REAL medical care.
