I purchased a Red Velvet cake yesterday from Kroger in Laurel amoung other items. Last night when I ate a piece of the cake it taste terrible. There was no phone number on the receipt so I had to research to get the phone number. No anwer at first but after several phone calls someone did answer the phone. I asked to speak to the manager and got an assitant manager by the name of Theresa. She was very monotone when talking with her and not courtious at all. she came accross as though she didn;t care at all. I explained the situation to her and she remarked that she must see the cake today and that I must have a receipt. Living 40 miles one way from the store and haveing to depart for work in La. soon, i informed her that that was impossible to do. She stated that there was nothing else that she could do. I will never shop at this store again. I like Kroger stores but this store puts a blemish on the Kroger chain.
