Thank you Boone Urgent Care. I cut my thumb tonight and drove from Newland to your Office and received excellent care in a very short time. I was taken in almost upon arrival, my problem was assessed and in less than 30 minutes my thumb had three stitches and I was happily on my way home.....Sure beats any ER service that I have ever seen. The staff was kind, courteous, caring and very professional. What a nice way to have medical needs care for....Thank you all for your help.

This place was horrible, your better off going to the ER and i will explain my story. I Have a fever of 103+ looking for some type of diagnosis or help but get a hour and thirty minute wait here. then when I finally get into the room I wait another 20 minutes and get some vital signs checked but NO temperature check. they tell me that its just a little virus and to take some ibuprofen/Motrin and move on. In my report there are multiple false things and even made it a point to write on my school note that he will be ready to go to school the next day. Later that day my condition worsened to the point where I was rushed to the ER for advanced medical care due to the lack of care here. bottom line, DO NOT GO HERE, IF YOU ARE A STUDENT AT APP STATE GO TO THE SCHOOLS MEDICAL FACILITY, OTHER WISE DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME HERE AND JUST GO TO THE ER IF ITS ANYTHING MORE THAN A MILD COLD. Don't waste your time and 30 dollar copay here.

I went here for a routine drug screen..First off they lied and said they could do results in 2 to 3 hours over and over..So I went as the company wanted the results back fast to hire me the next week.This was on a Friday..Turns out the machine/computer there wouldn't do them so they had to be sent to Hickory..If that wasn't bad enough when the results did come back the morons sent them to the wrong fax number and they didn't get my test results until the week after that next week And I had to call and call and the company called them also it took forever to find out what happened to the results...Looks like it cost me the job and everything..Definitely avoid this place..

Wonderful immediate care and fantastic follow-up...better than you would get from your doctor or a normal emergency room for a fraction of the price. Doctor Angie Gonder is a thorough doctor who took the time to find a hairline fracture many physicians would have missed and she stayed late to diagnose and treat my hand. Then within a few days she called to make sure my hand was progressing well, and volunteered to rewrap and check on my hand.
