My son and I were assigned a PCM at this FastMed in November 2013. Since then we have had to go a handful of times, both for appointments and more urgent matters. Every time we've been in, the staff has been beyond friendly and very efficient. I've never had to wait for more than 20 minutes and they're pretty quick to see us in the back. I had to take my son in this morning for an upper respiratory infection and the three gentlemen that we dealt with were awesome. Jonathan at the front, the nurse Victor, and the PA named Dayne. I've met Jonathan on several occasions and he's very personable, as are the other two (who I'd never met before). In addition to them, I've obviously met several of the other staff and I can think nothing but good things about them. The center itself is clean and inviting and I like that they have separate waiting rooms (for those that are sick and those that are well). Everything seems to be well maintained and it's the first urgent care I've been to that I actually don't mind going to!
The experience in the office was bad, but the billing department was horrible! They kept sending me bills after my insurance had paid them in full. My account showed that I was over 120 days past due when they had received payment three months ago!!! They wasted my time in the office when they forgot that we were waiting for test results and then they wasted more of my time with their inept billing department. I will go to an ER before I go back to them! UPDATE 1 month later (five months post visit). I received YET ANOTHER BILL for this service. My insurance has paid this bill in full. I call the billing department and they tell me that my account is $0....YET I KEEP RECEIVING BILLS. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE UNLESS YOU WANT TO DEAL WITH THE BILLING DEPT FOR MONTHS AFTER THE VISIT, and waste inordinate amounts of time on the phone with your insurance and the billing department!
