I had SERIOUS dental issues when I came to Dr Scammon's office June of 2009 - root canals, entire teeth that needed to be removed, and some serious cavities too as a result of my fear of dentists/lack of insurance/pregnancies/etc... causing me to not go for years. Other dentists I was recommended charged a good deal of money and wouldn't give me a straight price, sending me to several other offices for different parts of the procedure. Hometown Family Dental's staff was friendly and helpful, they saw to my troubles quickly and prescribed pain meds to deal with the pain I was in. I appreciated that they were sensitive to my fears and wrote out prioritized list of procedures that I needed, with costs written out (including contacting insurance to see the part I had to pay) so I could take care of things as I was able.
