I have been going here for treatment the last couple years and i absolutely love it. They are so friendly and helpful. Without there help i wouldnt be able to do half the things i do! Thank you independence back institute!

Eight months of treatment, and was in constant pain. Was discharged b/c of an emergency medical operation that took place while under their care. I never got any drugs not approved by their office, but it was determined that I was not following the contract. Although no narcotic meds were given from another doctor under their care, they stated that I was only trying to get drugs. Three surgeons agreed that the surgery was needed, and had me under the knife w/in 10 days. Classified the surgery as “urgent”, but I was still discharged. They need to start using a pee test. It tells exactly what a person has in their body....

At first I was very impressed with this office, although my daughter had to suffer with pain for several months before any pain medication was given to her. Once she went up the ladder of meds (just 2 steps) we did find one that worked well only if she doubled the dose. I called the office that next morning to let them know what a acute attack of pain she was in and what we did. Well beware! The truth does not work with this office, I spoke with "Jane" who was very unsympathetic. She informed me that now they cannot treat her ANYMORE! I was in shock as to WHY? She explanied to me about a contract that I knew nothing about ( we never signed any kind of contract) I was not informed of thier rules or steps to take in case of an emergency and she threaten to turn me in to the D.E.A...... As if I went out in the streets and bought some kind of "Drugs" How dare her!!!! My child was in pain and I know her better than anybody and I know how high her tolerance is to pain meds. She has been on them for 6 years. I feel we did nothing wrong and that SHE (Jane) just didn't care. A day before her (my daughter's) appointment we had a call to make sure that we would keep the appointment. So I was prepared to explain this to Dr. Liguori, well when we arrived Jane came up and shouted "I told you she is no longer a patient here". Words were exchanged, but we NEVER got to see the Dr. After that we did recieve a letter telling us that we were "dismissed" due to the violation of our pain contract. Which again we never even knew about!!!! So they just kick my daughter out with no care for her in the furture..... Jane is a good "Pit Bulldog" for thier office.
