We've been going to Dr Pillen for over 12yrs and she is a great eye doctor! She's the only one in Nebraska who has gotten my eyeglass prescription right. Her staff isn't very good - we've had the wrong glasses ordered, the wrong size ordered, been charged the wrong amount (even got sent to collections on that), had broken glasses not properly repaired. We got glasses there last fall and between the appointment and selecting the glasses it was over 4 hours. And they wondered why I got so grumpy. The Doctor herself is awesome & I'd recommend her to anyone. Get your glasses elsewhere though unless you are close to her office or have time to drive to Bellevue all the time. Oh, and they are closed some weekdays making it hard to remember when you can stop by to get stuff or get it fixed.

Dr. Pillen herself is a great doctor, but her staff is not so great. I would give her a 4 1/2- 5 stars, and her staff a 1-1 1/2 stars. Long waits, wrong orders, contact orders being placed 3 days after you call them in, etc. Get the exam from Doctor Pillen, but get your glasses and contacts elsewhere.
