The Doctors' Office Urgent Care
Reviews
First I went there, they were very helpful.. I thought the doctor knew what he was doing. he saw me for total 5 minutes gave me a zpack and said I have a infection. I should be cleared up within 2 days. Meanwhile. a week later I gotten worse. I have been buying over the counter medicine and diagnosing myself. I called and said I wanted to go back but no pay a co-pay, the girl was so rude and brushed me off, meanwhile when I was there the first time they didnt charge some kid that was there. UNBELIEVABLE!! the doctor didnt want to be bothered. I do not recommend
I've brought my daughters there twice. We had the same doctor both times-Dr. Ashish (sp?). Dr. Ashish is very knowledgeable and professional but way too serious. What I love about this place is that you are seen by their staff within minutes and in both occasions, by the Doctor within 10 minutes. Contrast this with Centre State when we literally wait an hour to see a doctor, and then it takes a least 4-5 hours before we are released for relatively simple problems like vomiting, or sore throats. Last time we went to Urgent Care, Dr. Ashish felt it could be strep and examined us, took cultures and gave us a prescription for an antibiotic within 20 minutes. The quick culture came back negative, but he cautioned us that the slow culture is more definitive but took two days to get a result. In 2 days they called us back with a positive result. The staff is great!!!
Very clean best insta-care in the area. Office staff and nurses Professional and Curious. Dr. Was very caring, helpul and knowledgeable. Excellent service.
The office is nice and clean, but with that being said this place is horrific. They have NO CLUE as to what they are doing. I waited two hours - to have a strep taken - the doctor did not come back in for another 20 min .. then he LIED telling me he ran the test twice but only took one swab. Which didnt matter because it was negative - he prescribed amox for presumably nothing? The doctor was unsure of himself and sounded like he was trying to convince himself and not me. After a ER visit it was actually determined I had Mono - and if I had taken the antibiotic I would have broken out into a rash. If they listened to my symptoms and did the bloodwork all of it could have avoided. DO NOT GO HERE - YOU WILL SPEND MONEY ON NOTHING !
