Dr. Gundel has performed 3 surgeries on me. Carpal tunnel, unlar nerve relase, and knee surgery. When I had my hand done and fell he had to see me right away and had me go to Saratoga office. I felt he truly cared about his patients. Now a year or so later with my knee surgery, I called the office 5 times in pain and he did not call back or have anyone call with message as I was in severe pain. Finally at 7:30 a nurse who says she don't work in office much because she has a 5 year old at home called and told me to take 1/2 of pain med and 3 ibuprofen and will call back in an hour. 11:30 that evening she calls back and says she did not want me to think she forgot about me. Duh I think she did 3 hours late. I was asleep and medicated. I just feel Dr. Gundel has forgot his passion for patients. If you have an emergency you have a better chance at the ER than getting a call from him or his "Office Staff". Very disappointed. Seems the bigger they get the less they care. I like doctors who care and know who I am and not making me feel like this office has.
