Aspen Dental

The staff is friendly and, you are always greeted with a smile. They work around my schedule so I don't have to miss work to keep my appointments which is a huge plus for me. I get anxious over dental work but, Dr Lee and his assistants make me feel safe and comfortable throughout all of my procedures. I would highly recommend anyone looking for a new dental office to stop in to Aspen Dental in Kingston NY.
They suck and they lie and tell you they take your insurance when they don't then after they get all of the money part squared away they wont even file a claim for you when they take your cash. Nasty rotten kids working there. The older women are nice and the place is clean but it the run of the mill mall dentist place.
This is not really a dental office in the conventional sense. It is an aggressive business plan with some hired dentists. The facility is excellent and clean, the dental assistants and technicians lovely and personable and the dentists are good. The dentists, however, can barely lift a finger without having to consult with--and repeatedly send you to -- the business manager(s) to schedule more work and develop a lifetime dental strategy. That stench is awful. Too bad.
An offfice full of friendly, helpful, understanding and non-judgemental people. They listen to you and do excellent work! I have a fear of going to the dentist but I'm not scared to go to Aspen, that's for sure!
I cant say without a doubt that this place tries to SCAM customers! on my first (and only) appointment I had introductory x-rays taken before i was supposed to get a cleaning. I had no complaints or dental issues prior to this visit, but I was told that I had 3 cavities and likely required a ROOT CANAL! I had a chance to look at the images of the xrays taken and there were no cavities (sorry scammers, you probably didnt know I read radiology films every day at my job.) The people at the front desk wasted no time in trying to make me schedule the procedures as soon as possible, and tried to shove a quote of almost $1000 after insurance. The bill even included a $30 "cleaning package" which I asked about and was told that it is basically a little baggie with toothpaste, dental floss, and mouthwash to take home. What a joke!? I ofcourse went to another dentist who took their own Xrays and, no surprise, found NOTHING wrong!! The people at aspen were indeed kind, especially the woman who took the xrays, but thats just to cover up the fact that they are scamming insurance companies, and patients out of money and worst of all, subjecting people to needless procedures which involve pain, and have risks, and side effects. These people should be arrested.
