This store is smaller than the standard Walmart. Its a compact version. The store does have a large variety of Groceries, basic clothing, an outdoor garden center. Its easy to find items out of stock. Can be in stock one day and gone the next. Specialty items do not stay long, they get rotated to other local Walmarts. The store does have an auto parts garage with a basic selection of parts in the store itself. I constantly find items on top shelves pushed way to the back making it difficult for elderly or handicap people to reach. Some of the help don't know their products, depending on which department you are in. I would love to promote Walmart better, as there are very few general merchandise stores in Lowville. But I do have to be honest with what I see. What I really would like to see is the store get an expansion. It needs more room to house more products. I constantly here the excuse that Lowville is not large enough to have a larger store. But The County is large enough and most of the county goes to Lowville to by their products. Why not build and let the store be an attraction to bring business into the County. If it offers what the other stores do not, the customers will show up.

If you need to stop for anything general, this is your place. It's very convenient, but it is limited. For boy clothes, there are plenty of t-shirts & button ups, but that's just about it. Jeans & a couple dress slacks. VERY limited. You can get just about anything for girls & ladies. Hair, jewelry, make up, you name it. It's a give or take. Nice to have a local Walmart just the same.
