CVS needs to take a long hard look at the pharmacy staff at this location. In the ~5 years that this location has been open, I haven't had a single prescription pick up that didn't have some problem or another. Refill orders from the phone, website, or app go missing on a regular basis, more often than not requiring a minimum of 2 visits to actually pick up a prescription. They also have some absurd and downright dangerous policies on refilling controlled substances such as sleep aids or pain killers: having to wait 32 days to fill a 30 day supply can cause significant health problems to someone who's body is dependent on the medication. Finally, the 'can't-be-bothered' attitude of the staff in unacceptable in a service profession, particularly one as critical as this. I've used them for the last time. The Clifton Park location is a bit better, but find that the inconvenience of having the prescriptions filled at Price Chopper in Malta, or making the drive to Walgreens in Clifton Park or Wilton to be worth the inconvenience for not having to deal with awful customer service of the Malta CVS. I know that the issues are site specific as the poor customer services stands in stark contrast to serviceable service I get at the Clifton Park location, but even that pales in comparison to the excellent and personal service I get from the staff at Walgreens in Clifton Park.
