Caution! My 83 year old father, who suffers from dementia, was recently admitted to this facility for rehabilitation, after being hospitalized for pneumonia. While he was a resident at The Anderson, he was permitted to elope from the facility three times. On one ocassion, he was found in the parking lot in his wheelchair by a vistor. Later that night he was found outside, in the dark at subfreezing temperatures, sitting in the snow. Staff from The Anderson reported that they believe he was been outside for approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes.
