I had to wait quite a while for my appointment. I wasn't greeted at all when I walked in the door. No one seemed to notice or care that I was there. The equipment they used during my adjustment seemed fairly current and safe. I did feel a little less pain after my chiropractic treatment. My main complaint is the COST. I have no health insurance, which I explained to at least FOUR (4) people and my concern that I would not be able to afford treatment. Several people assured me that the initial visit and x-rays would be approximately $250 (which I could afford) so I told them to go ahead with x-rays. Only after they took the x-rays and the doctor did about a 3 minute adjustment did I learn that the "real treatment" I needed, the "decompression" would be over $300! Wait. What? If I had known that, I would have left without x-rays or adjustment. I feel that I was deceived and tricked into spending more than I intended for NO REASON! I would say go, but exercise caution, but I was cautious and asked over and over and over what the cost would be. Not once was it mentioned that _after_ I had the x-rays, the real treatment would be hundreds of dollars more. I will not be going back and do not recommend this person.
I spent $2500 on the recommended 20-25 treatments. There was quite a bit of relief during the treatment process but the pain returned within two weeks of completing the final treatment. I brought this to the office managers attention and was told I was still responsible for the remaining balance (approx. $800). I was extremely hopeful to find a permanent solution to my chronic back pain but the fact is the decompression therapy only gave me short term relief and the chronic pain has returned worse than ever. I feel that I have wasted my time and money. Disappointed to say the least!!!!
