The two stores in Albany and Corvallis have consistently gone downhill over the past six months. I used to do all of my shopping here, but then the vagrants started following customers around the store and begging for money. Then they started regularly selling bad food (expired, uncooked, moldy) and refusing to do returns (something they used to be great at). Today we did our shopping here rather than go the extra three blocks to Safeway because we were tired. Big mistake. Bought three deli sandwiches along with our groceries and also several gift cards, including some visa prepaid credit cards. The sandwiches had raw dough on the inside; raw!!! Three of the gift cards didn't work (haven't tried the others yet). Called the manager, Kathy Collier, who said come on down for a refund. Got to the store and she told her assistant manager, a nasty redhead with crooked teeth named Jimmy Rosacker, that "we don't do refunds". So now I am stuck with several non-working gift cards for the holidays. Since these each have activation fees of $6 and the cards are for $50 each, I'm out a bundle of $. Will never shop here again. Can't believe how low they've sunk. Kroger used to be a trustworthy brand, but now they charge more than Safeway and sell expired food and worthless gift cards. Don't get your gift cards here. They won't work and they don't do refunds. Unbelievable. Reporting them to the Attorney General and BBB, then the CEO of Kroger.
The wine guy is super & will order what ever you want. It is always there when you need it. They have the freshest produce of any stores in Salem or any town close by. They always have the best buys on clothing & tons of sales almost all the time. A great value for a family of any size or age.
Great store for one stop shopping. The store brand stuff is of good quality and great pricing. They have good clothing but need a greater selection of sizes.
Love the new updates same friendly staff and great service
We had a bad experience here, but a customer service manager made it up to us. I was never going to shop here again, and was just calling to complain about their service, when he went out of his way to right the wrong. Kudos!
