Holy Spirit Hospital
Reviews
My wife has been a Heart patient at Holy Spirit Hospital at least nine times. They have treated her royally. As far as we are concerned it is the best Hospital in Cumberland Valley. I just wish that they had more space in the E.R.
I've had a family member undergoing long-term care here, and all I can say is what a blessing everyone I've encountered at HSH has been. Such compassionate, caring people who truly strive to serve others while doing what's best for them.
I have been inpatient many times. I have positive experiences mostly. It depends on nurse compatability. The nurses are efficient ,courteous and knowledgeable. The doctors I've had are excellent. There are always a few not perfect experiences but compared to other places I've been this place suites my needs the best. Many times they went out of their way to provide more comfort or extra care. The BEST food anywhere. Ordered and brought to you in 35 minutes. They even call you if you DONT call in. The ER has lately been very different. However their Holy Spirit Guest relations have listened and responded very quickly to one incident I had in the ER. I DONT know why it happened but I've used this hospital for years and had no issues. The wait time varies. Use the ambulance if you truly are ill. You will be seen quickly.
my son was taken in by ambulance 5/2/14 and he was treated so well! Everyone there was so nice, helpful, and wonderful to my son! Thank you to all of them. Highly recommend this hospital
I've gone here on multiple occasions for serious migraines, every time they have put me in the hallway on a gurney under the million lights and next to the counters where people are answering phones and clicking away at their key boards. When my mother asked if I could be moved because I had already been waiting 5 hours, an hour in the waiting room and 4 after being put in the hallway, we were told that there were no rooms available for me. I was watching the nurses cleaning out rooms and other people move in to them..My mother started getting concerned for me cause I could no longer acknowledge the people around me so once more she asked if I could be put in a quieter location and the nurse responded that there were people in worse off condition. I waited 7 hours, it was 2 a clock in the morning when I was finally seen and all they did was give me shot of hematrex which my mother had warned them I didn't do well on before and then sent me out the door in a wheel chair because I couldn't walk out on my own.
