Walmart Supercenter

I give it a 3. Erie Walmart really needs to get some tips from Walmart Supercenter in Harborcreek. This Erie Walmart is rather disorganized, but manages to be decent. The workers are nice and helpful, and there is the occasional greeter. Also the service center always has someone available. . The main issues are the follow: The lack of cashiers; on busy days there are only three (at the most four) people working to check out 20+ customers, they are clearly overwhelmed and go as quickly as they can. . The item stocking can be rather slow, and when there is a popular item of the month, this place just can't seem to get the idea to order enough. . And while costumers should respect the store, it is disappointing to see aisle and shelves become a mess because of the lack of staff patrolling. So when customers place random items (like food and toys) in various parts of the store as they decide not to buy it, the items can remain in inappropriate places up to 2 to 3 days! . If any managers of Erie's Walmart is reading, please work hard to bring this store to a more pleasant experience for your regular customers. The store is decent, because it has whatever you need at the time, but it can be so much better in so many ways.
I went to walmart today to get flowers to plant for my mom, mulch n potting soil. Got kids n myself in the car, drove over to the mulch, loaded it n didn't see the soil. Drove over to fence in L&G to locate the soil I paid for. Got out n seen a RACOON INSIDE THE FENCE!!!! Had to park the car, get all of us out n go back in....again! Went in to get a mgr to get my soil for me cuz I WASN'T takin my kids out there. We like Walmart n hardly ever have any problems.

I will rate my overall visit to Walmart at 3 out of 5 stars. When I went in, the first thing that I noticed was the sloppy appearance. Though it was night time, and I do understand that they need to restock the shelves, they should try to keep a sense of organization, and most of all, safety in mind. There were pallets and carts everywhere, and people hard at work, some of them not paying attention to where they were walking -- I was nearly ran into by an employee who was not paying attention. I give them plus points, because the associates I did speak to, and asked for assistance were very helpful. They were also very friendly. I was satisfied at this point. Then, I arrive at the checkout. I waited 7 minutes for the cashier to check out the woman in front of me. She did not have very many items. The cashier was ringing up items, and bagging them as if she were in slow motion. After completing the transaction. It took quite some time for her to "get rid of" the woman previous to me, and to start ringing my items. It was quite a long process for the items we had present. We had no more than 10 items, and it took us at least 5 minutes, from start to finish. She showed no sense of urgency, and no emotion. She came across as friendly, but you could just tell that she was not genuine. The issues here pretty much dragged down the entire experience for me, and lowered my overall opinion of the trip.
