I have always been fastidious about my teeth and have always taken good care of them including regular visits to a DDS. When my previous DDS passed away I tried Aspen Dental as it was one of only 2 in the area that subscribe to the dental plan I now have. I was appalled at their unethical medical/business practices. They recommended a total of 5 procedures of which I believe none of them were necessary. When I asked specifics about the procedures and their necessity the DDS become visibly uncomfortable with this request. The worst example was wanting to remove a perfectly solid gold crown because they didn't like the shape of it. I can detect no problem with that crown at all. If they hadn't "shot for the moon" and or kept the list of work needed to a reasonable list I might have been "duped" into getting unnecessary work done. I will be dropping my dental insurance and going back to private pay and having a better selection of DDS to choose from.

I recently had my first visit to Aspen Dental, I was very pleased. My dental hygienist was very friendly and thorough.
