This was my first visit and I was there for a routine cleaning. When Dr. Swick came in and inspected my teeth he told me everything was fine except this one tooth wasn't pleasing to the eye. The tooth he was talking about has always bothered me but all I was always ever told was that it was a baby tooth that never fell out. It in fact isn't a baby tooth I can't remember what kind it is but it didn't develop properly. Nobody has ever told me anything could be done to fix it make it more pleasant to look at. I'm in my late 40s and not once has a dentist ever suggested anything. Well of course he had my attention and I asked what would be involved and then the major question the cost. Dr. Swick did his part explaining the procedure then the wonderful office assistant did her research and checked with my insurance and left me know what would be my portion. When I asked them when they could schedule me they both said how about now. You heard me correctly they did part one that same day. Instead of sending me home like every other dentist has done to me in the past to only return for another visit to start the procedure and then return for visit three to finish the procedure I only have to return once and that is to have the crown put in place. Never in my life have I ever been in a dentist's office that made a recommendation and then offered to do it that same day. What a convenience! I understand this probably isn’t the norm, I’m thankful that it was on that day. Dr. Swick and his assistant were wonderful. Suzie the hygienist was thorough and informative and gave me a full mouth cleaning not half a mouth like the last dental office. I would definitely recommend Three Rivers Dental. All the staff is wonderful.
