Dr. Behnoush Rashedi, Oaks Dental Specialists. Review by James G Hunt. 2 years ago, we moved from San Antonio, TX to Media, PA. Just before we moved I was told that I needed, for overall better health, to have my remaining teeth removed and be fitted for dentures. After researching, I decided I wanted removable, implant dentures and then had to find a dentist (Prosthodontist) to treat me. I did extensive research on the web and found the following description of Dr. Rashedi's experience. "Dr. Behnoush Rashedi received her Doctorate in Dental Medicine and Master's in Education in 1998 from the University of Pennsylvania. Following this, she attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and received her prosthodontic specialty training and Master's in Science degree in 2001. In 2007, she became board-eligible by the American Board of Prosthodontics. For six years, Dr. Rashedi taught full-time and served as the Director of Removable Prosthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. In addition, she maintained a private practice in the university practicing all aspects of prosthodontics." Just what I was looking for--recently trained, significant clinical experience teaching as well as practicing. Now that the work is completed, I could not be more pleased. Everyone in the practice from Dr. Behnoush Rashedi and her sister Dr. Sarah Rashedi, to the rest of the staff are extremely professional and at the same time friendly, courteous, competent, and efficient. We have seen Dr Sara for our 3 children and my wife and I have now switch to Dr Rashedi, the office, staff are great and very personable, very happy we found them!
