Seastone Dental
Reviews
I am fairly new to the area, and I had been in search for a dentist. I received a mailer from Seastone Dental and decided to give it a try. When I called, they were very friendly and got me in the next day. My wait in the nicely appointed waiting area was brief and comfortable. The hygienist was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and patient. The dentist was also friendly and took plenty of time explaining everything to me. Before leaving, the office manager took time go over my dental plan and explain in detail my insurance coverage. They have late hours and occasional Saturday hours for convenience. Over all, it was a very pleasant experience.
This office provides a very warm and "at home" feeling. Dr. Palmateer is very easy to talk to and an all around great person! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Edit: In regards to P Beauregard's review. Yes, I am a dental student (although I have no idea how you know that...creepy) and ALSO a patient of record. When I moved to the area for school, I met Dr. Palmateer's husband and he told me his wife was a dentist in the area and was opening up a new practice. Since my current dentist practices in Florida, I was in need of a new dentist so I decided to try out Dr. Palmateer. I stand by my original review that she is a great person, easy to get along with, and also great at what she does. Her age is by no means a predictor of her abilities to practice great dentistry. It says a lot when a fellow dental professional gives a great review to her colleague. If and when I decide to practice in the area, Dr. Palmateer will be hard to compete with.
Dr. Palmateer is very knowledgeable and I can trust her to do what she thinks is in my best interest. Her office is warm and inviting with all the latest technology. It is also very clean! It was so easy to have x-rays taken in her office because she has a new handheld machine that takes all of them in seconds. No uncomfortable film in your mouth, no waiting.
Seastone Dental was great. The staff was very friendly. The Dentist and all the staff were very knowledgable. It is very clean and all new equipment. There are TV's on the ceiling with closed captioning so you can catch up on some news. They had very great equipment and it was an overall great experience!
Look at the DATES of the so-called "reviews".... the dental office is literally logging in and writing their own positive reviews. The office staff is very rude and uncaring. The dentist is very young and seems very inexperienced. BEWARE!! For example the people writing the reviews: Sarah Carlisle and Laura Kuhne are both dental students that the young "doctor" knows who have never been patients and don't go to her for dental work! This is an example of her willing to mislead people in order to secure patients any way that she can. Was not gentle or caring... scary experience actually I wish I had done some research on her before I booked this appointment. BEWARE!!!
