Doctors Express Urgent Care Cleveland
Reviews
Update September 2014: I tried these folks again recently and I am happy to report a MUCH better experience. We waited only 10 minutes in the waiting room and were seen within 20 in the back. They were super nice to my daughter and the rooms are very neat and clean. Old Review: I went here after receiving an advertisement in the mail from them guaranteeing 15 to 20 minute maximum wait. I thought that is perfect since my 6 year old daughter was not feeling well and kids don't tend to wait around very well, especially when sick. The office was new and nice, but there were not really enough chairs for everyone there and it did not seem well-ventilated.. the "new" smell (chemicals) was heavy.. we got our info in and waited.. 15 mins passed.. then 30.. one person who was there when we arrived went back... another 15.. and another 15... so after an hour a woman comes out of the back and shes crying about how they wont help her. So I decided enough was enough I asked for a refund (they had me pay upfront before service) and we left. I was polite but one of the ladies there told me I will wait like this anywhere I go.. and was borderline rude tossing my chart on the desk. Well they should not promise a short wait time if they cant deliver. I went elsewhere and it took only 30 mins.
Although I have been in extreme pain, barely could walk. Dr. Rudolph and his staff is wonderful. They took care of me a way I wish - every Doctors office would do it same way.
I went in for a tooth ache, I called ahead to see if they would be able to treat me. Once I got there I asked if I would get anything for pain, just asked I am not a druggy I was just in REALLY terrible pain. After I said that the receptionist became VERY rude! I mean there really was no reason at all for her to treat me the way she did....SO I was really worried about how the rest of the visit was going to go. I got my sister and the kids out of the car because I didn't know how long it would take and they had a tv so I figured it would be better for them to watch tv in the waiting room then sit in a cold car. Reception did not like that. She was just very unprofessional about my my children being in the room where not loud or running around. Are mothers not allowed to get treatment, while their husbands are at work? Anyway....So anyway a few minutes later I was called back, got my vitals taken. NP Michelle Walker talked to me and gave me some great places I could call for further dental work, wrote me a scrip for antibiotics. She was really kind and very professional! While I was waiting, Doctor Rudolph came in and introduced himself. They where very nice and seemed to genuinely care about my issue. Then I was done, maybe 20 minutes at the most. I would recommend this urgent care to ALL mothers who do not have 3 hours to sit in the ER with your little ones for minor medical issues. My only problems was 1st the receptionist I really wish I got her name, because I would put it on here. And the prescription was not sent to Walgreen's right away, I live really far out I would have rather just took the scrip myself. Instead of having to drive back to town the next day.
I LOVE LOVE LOVED everything about Doctor's Express! I went in on a weekend due to a insect bite and was in and out in 30 mins! The staff was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Dr.Rudolph explained everything very well.I recommend this office to my family and friends !
Went in on Sunday before Memorial Day....reading the above review I was skeptical. I was greeted warmly, seen in a matter of minutes and received great care. I was to the point of having to go to an ER had they not been open....I'm very glad I had them to turn to.
