This counseling service is the most unprofessional service I have ever seen. The staff is not trained properly. We attended counseling with Mrs. Gallardo for our family (4 year old daughter, 12 year old son, myself the mother of daughter and step mom of son, and father of both children. After seeking another concealing option which included in-home intensive therapy for the 12 year old boy while planning to continue concealing with Mrs, Galardo she became upset and without first speaking with his father and I proceeded to refer him to a different facility. When we were informed of her decision by her secretary we became upset and requested she call us immediately to discuss the matter. Mrs. Gallerdo returned my call within an hour yelling and informing me that she is the professional and we need to follow her advice because she knows best. She refused to sign the referral and hung up on me. We followed the advice of the in-home service and stopped communication. Mrs. Gallardo has now sent a certified letter to us claiming we are threatening her and her staff and that we need classes in anger management, parenting and individual concealing. We do not claim to be perfect but in no way have we threatened her or her secretary nor showed any aggressive behavior. The treatment by her has only added to the stress we have at home as she knows the problems we face on a daily basis being that she was our counselor for a period of time. I would recommend any family looking for help stay far away from this service.
