Went in after a bad fall. The whole reason I went was because I couldn't manage the pain at home with tylenol. I cannot take motrin because of stomach issues. While in xray the dr paid a visit to my husband in my room and told him i was being over dramatic. Being a self pay patient the dr. Told me go home with ice and more tylenol. When i explained i needed something stronger they treated me like a total drug seeker. My husband asked them to at least consider it. The dr came back with prescription for for 4 norco's. I then asked if they would prescribe a new medicine that they basically sell over the counter its nexium mixed with naprosyn. The nurse came back in and told me i could had to give back the norco and gave me a low dose of naprosyn. Where i am from one of the leading causes of trips to the emergency room is pain. This er was worthless. I am a respectable mother of four who just relocated with my husband. Our insurance has not yet kicked in. I was shocked by the lack of policy, procedure, and professionalism. Furthermore, completely appalled at the lack of contact I had with the actual dr and with the fact that i was forced to choose between two meds given together would have been complimentary course of treatment. I mean who does that. Oh and i forgot to mention i was offered to use a restroom with feces still in the toilet. An open alcohol wipe on the floor and a urine cup in the sink. SANITARY

Just be aware that this ER can't even do some simple things. My husband had chest pain and they said they didn't have the equipment to test him. So, we said we would go to another hospital. They said by law they couldn't let us do that, that they had to have him ride in an ambulance. Well guess who had to pay for the ambulance ride?? We did!! It wasn't even anything serious, but because they can't handle something like that, we had to pay.

This is the worse place I have ever been in my life. The nurses suck and the doctors suck even more. You will probably die if you go here. your better off letting some stranger on the road try and take care of you.
