The staff and Dr. Jackman are very friendly and efficient. My problem was their refusal to release my prescription to the dispenser (1800-contacts) for the full amount that I was trying to purchase. Because the prescription was coming up on the 1 year mark, they would only allow 2 boxes. Also, although I was clear which type I wore, he wrote the prescription for a different, more expensive type. Because of these problems, they have cost me more money: no rebate for a two-box purchase, lenses cost 10-15% more than than my lenses, and I will have to get another prescription before I order again. I got an eye exam there primarily because I needed new glasses. While there I updated my prescription. I did not need to purchase new contacts at the time, but they punished me for that. If they had just stuck to what they are required to do, there would have been no problem. They chose to add information and add restrictions that were not necessary.
In my opinion, he is not a very good doctor. I could not wear my glasses due to double vision.
Dr. Jackman is very professional, has great bedside manner, and is a great Optometrist. He suggested a change in my contact lenses and have never been happier. The staff is easy to work with overall a great experience. I would recommend to all.
We got glasses for my 9 year old and paid for insurance. When he broke them 6 months later, we took them back for repair, they sent them out over 2 months ago and have told us 3 different stories about why it's taking so long, plus they're charging us for a new pair of glasses. We will never ever use them again
