If you want to be seen and treated as a number instead of as a patient, then you found the right place. I had scheduled an appt. with Dr.Tinley which took 3 weeks to get me in. I scheduled an appt. for 3:00pm, so that I could be out of there by 5:00pm. I signed my self in at exactly 3:00pm, 25 minutes into my appt. time the front office girl finally decided to call me up to give me paperwork to fill out since I was a new patient. This is of course after her talking to the other front office staff about her social life. At exactly 4:00pm I'm still sitting in the waiting room, got up and asked one of the front office girls if I was going to be able to be done by 5:00pm. I explained to her that I needed to be out the door at 5:00pm because I had to pick up my kids. She said to let the Dr.'s assistant know when they would take me back. Finally they call me in at 4:30pm, I asked the assistant if I was going to be out by 5:00pm, told her the reason why. She said she would let the Dr. know so that he would get to me right away. At 4:45pm the x-ray tech takes me back for x-rays. Which I didn't understand why they took x-rays when I brought them my MRI's that were just taken a week prior to the appt. At 4:50pm I decided to grab my MRI's and leave, as I came out of the operatory the assistant was there, I told her I was leaving, she said the Dr. was going to get to me right away that he was just reviewing my case. I reminded her that there was a reason why I had to be out the door by 5:00pm, I asked her what Dr. did an exam in 10 minutes. Dr.Tinley was standing right next to her, neither her nor the Dr. said a word to me. Not an apology, nothing!! They just looked at me, as if I was dumb or something. I work in the dental field, and deal with patient appts, and understand that from time to time unexpected things will happen with the schedule, like unexpected emergencies, etc. When that happens though, and my Dr. runs behind out of courtesy to the patients we either call them ahead of time to let them know we're running behind, or we notify them the minute they walk in the door. I had to take time off from work to make my 3:00pm appt. They should've been courteous to tell me they were running behind 2 hours, specially since I told them ahead of time why I had to be out the door by 5:00pm. I called the next day to request a duplicate of the x-rays they had took, and the receptionist said she didn't know whether they were saved since I had left. I told her that they were saved because the x-ray tech had saved them into my file. I decided to ask her how long a new appt. usually takes. She of course started giving me all these excuses about emergencies, etc. She said they were a very busy office, and that their schedule varies. When I asked her why they didn't have the courtesy to tell me ahead of time, she got very rude and nasty, cut me off, wouldn't let me finish what I was telling her. Then she said she would have to transfer me to her office manager and accused me of being rude, and nasty. I told her to please transfer me because she wasn't listening to anything I was telling her. At the end I got transferred to somebody's voicemail, and have not received a phone call from anyone. By the way I was seen at the Bryant Irvin Rd. location.
Southwest Orthopedic Associates took great care of my son and made him feel so comfortable.
They got me right in. Did the surgical repair. No complications. Great service and follow up treatments. Highly recommend.
