Dr. Howie watched my son slowly walk about 5 feet then told me "he's normal" and lectured me on the difference between children's joints and adults joints. I was there because my son had injured his leg and was limping days later. He did not do an xray, or even feel the injured leg, he did however feel/move around the opposite leg. I asked him "so you arent seeing him limp or short step his right leg?" He said "no, but if he starts limping you need to bring him in right away because that wouldn't be good" He wouldn't listen to me-apparently parents don't know their kids... When looking for another Dr I called one who didn't accept my ins any longer and when they were referring other dr's the lady said she had heard bad things about Dr Howie.
